Giving in-memory of a loved one has a long standing tradition in the Church. Supporting the work of the Archdiocese of Southwark in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to remember and celebrate their life.

Mass Intentions

A Mass can be offered for someone or something. It might be to give thanks for a significant event, anniversary or person; you could offer it for a specific need for yourself or somebody else; or you might request a Mass in remembrance of a love one who has died.

To request a Mass Intention, please contact your parish priest in your local Catholic Church.

Funeral Collection

A wonderful way to remember and celebrate the life of a family member or friend, is to hold a funeral collection in lieu of flowers at a loved one's funeral service.  To arrange a funeral collection, you should speak with your Parish Priest.  You can also choose to hold a funeral collection online by setting up a Tribute Page.

Tribute Page via MuchLoved

Setting up a Tribute Page is a wonderful way to remember your loved one and honour their life, whilst also collecting donations for your local Church or another charity of your choice.  You can add photos and videos to your page, and personalise it.  It also allows anyone who can’t be with you on the day of the funeral to make a donation or share a message.

You can nominate the Archdiocese of Southwark to be a beneficiary of your Tribute Page and thereafter nominate your local Catholic Church by providing the parish name and address.
