Southwark Spirituality Commission Online Lent Retreat

Archdiocese of Southwark Spirituality Commission will be providing a Lent retreat once again, which can be undertaken in your own at home, or as part of a group.

Southwark's Lenten Retreat journey will begin on Ash Wednesday and is called "Renewed in Hope".  Running alongside this will be our Lent daily reflections Renewed in Hope: Southwark Lent Retreat 2023
Drawing on the Mass readings for the Sundays of Lent, the retreat is designed to help participants find new ways of living and working in hope, in the company of Jesus, who continues to make all things new despite the considerable challenges of our contemporary world.
Some parishes will be running a Lent Retreat group based on 'Renewed in Hope': please see your parish newsletter or contact your parish office. If you would like to take part in the "Renewed in Hope" retreat, whether an individual or group, click the link below to sign up:

Taking Part in the Retreat

You will receive an email on the Monday of each week of Lent with a link to the relevant video. Archbishop John will introduce the retreat and read the Sunday Gospel reading. Chris Chapman will then lead a period of reflection and various ‘witnesses’ will share on the theme. Each video will be around 15–20 minutes long.
You will also receive links to resources for individual prayer & reflection for the week.
You may want to ask your Parish Priest if there is a group in your parish or if he knows of one locally.
