Solemn Requiem Mass in Thanksgiving for the Life and Service of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

 

Following the Death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the evening of Thursday 8th September 2022, the Dean of St George's Cathedral invites everyone to attend a Solemn Requiem Mass of Thanksgiving for the Life and Service of our late Sovereign.

The Mass will take place on Sunday 11th September at 12 noon and all Cathedral Clergy will be present.

All are very welcome to come together to unite in prayer for the repose of the soul of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. 

A quiet area of remembrance and prayer is also available in St George's Cathedral for those who wish to pray individually in advance of this Sunday.

May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
