Sacred Heart procession in Wandsworth
St Mary Magdalen Sacred Heart procession
The Christian tradition of marking the month of June as the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and flying the Sacred Heart flag goes back over 400 years.
The Catholic parish of St Mary Magdalen’s, East Hill continuing the tradition and celebration, are organising a prayerful procession on 14 June 2025, walking from St Mary Magdalen parish to and around Wandsworth Town Hall, and then returning to the parish.
The procession will begin at 11:30 (following the 10:30 Mass), and last around 30 minutes. Catholics and non-Catholics are welcome.
