On Saturday 27th May 2023, Southwark's Charismatic Renewal Team and the Agency for Evangelisation and Catechesis will be holding a Retreat Day at St George's Cathedral, Southwark. This marks the halfway point of the Life in the Spirit seminars being held this May and June, and particularly celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
We hope that as many participants of the Life in the Spirit Seminars, including those meeting in Hubs and online, as well as those attending the Cathedral each week, will gather at St George's Cathedral for the Life in the Spirit Retreat Day on Pentecost Saturday 27 May, from 11 am to 5 pm. There is also the option of staying for the Vigil Mass of Pentecost at 6 pm, at which Bishop Philip Moger will preside.
For those who cannot attend, it will be possible to join online (see details below). Please join the Charismatic Renewal Team for a day of inviting and welcoming the Holy Spirit into your life, with talks, discussion, reflection, prayer and praise.
Please note that owing to capacity limits in Amigo Hall, you must register in advance to attend the morning session. The event is open to all, including those who have not registered, in the afternoon.
