Over two days in Rome this June, the legacy of Pope Francis will be examined

Over two days in Rome this June, Catholic clergy, prominent novelists and thinkers of the 21st century will meet for a series of conversations examining the legacy of one of Pope Francis’s key concerns, that of “human fraternity, and how to advance it in a divided world.”

The event takes place Monday 9 – Tuesday 10 June at the historic Villa Malta in central Rome. Speakers include:

The event is part of a now-established series of conversations that Washington DC’s Georgetown University initiated in April 2024. The Georgetown Global Dialogues will continue this year in two of Europe’s greatest cities, Rome in June and Barcelona in November.
