Youth Day, March 2024

Children from parishes across our Archdiocese joined our first Youth Day of 2024 last Saturday at Richard Challenor School. The Youth Day commenced with ice-breakers and an inspiring talk about evidence for the divinity of Christ by Fr Samuel Burke OP.
After lunch, the children enjoyed crafts, football, rounders, adoration, and testimonies. Powerful testimonies were given by two young adults, Daniel and Rebekah, who went to World Youth Day in Lisbon with our diocese last year. The adoration ended with a Benediction given by Bishop Philip Moger, followed by an interesting Q&A session - Fr Samuel and our young adults answered many challenging questions from the children! The children enjoyed pizzas and games before they reluctantly departed.
Join us for the next Youth Day on 11 May at St. George’s Cathedral!

NET Ministries Retreat Day, February 2024

We had a full house of 80 young people from 10 parishes of our diocese, many of whom are going to receive the sacrament of Confirmation in May. The theme of the retreat was “Choose Joy”, and we can tell the retreat was certainly a great success from the radiant smiles of our young participants!

The young people enjoyed an action-packed day including games, testimonies, drama, music, exhortation, prayer, as well as getting to know each other! The prayer sessions were powerful, and the testimonies were moving! We pray that our young people have felt the love of God during the retreat and may God continuously bless his disciples @netscotland !
