The Holy Father and
our bishops are guiding us ever deeper into
co-operation
with our Christian neighbours.
The Commission for
Christian Unity here in Southwark is endeavouring to put
into practice what the Pope and bishops seek to achieve.
It is encouraging us to be proactive in our work with the
other Christian churches.
To help us the
Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales has
produced a set of leaflets so that every parish will have a
resource of ideas and practices so they can change from
doing ecumenical things
to do things ecumenically.
Entitled Together in Christ it contains seven
sections each taking a view to help develop the ecumenical
life of our parishes and to enrich
the knowledge and
role of those working for Unity.
