The Teresian Association is an international Catholic lay association
of men and women called together to make Jesus present in today's world
through living out the gospel values in everyday life.
Its objective is the
human promotion of individuals and the transformation of unjust
structures by means of an education and culture imparted from the
platform of Christianity. Its
members are men and women that, according to their specific vocation
and professions, strive to live the Christian vocation in the world “after
the style of the first Christians” as its founder St. Pedro Poveda
desired.
The members fulfil their mission mainly through the practice
of their professions. They are involved in education and research, social
work, family ministry, pastoral work, social programmes, and civil service.
The Association is engaged in different educational, socio-cultural
and humanitarian endeavours and is present in 30 countries, with thousands
of members and collaborators. |
