Summer event for altar servers

Summertime 2010 was an opportunity for servers to deepen their faith and also to consider their vocation, with a presentation on the second evening on marriage and the priesthood.

A moving evening was held with an hour of exposition of the Blessed
Sacrament, with candles and background music from the St. Patrick's
community, and the opportunity for confession. The youngsters were most appreciative of the opportunity for silent prayer.

The trip to Chessington World of Adventures was a popular day out, as well as the ten pin bowling and the oportunity for swimming, football and rounders. The result of the trip was a deepening in the faith, new friends and a wish to meet again. There will be a reunion in October at Good Shepherd Church, New Addington.
