On a blazing hot summers day, Archbishop John Wilson led hundreds of pilgrims from the Archdiocese of Southwark in a day of prayer and reflection at Walsingham.

The day began with adoration, which was followed by Mass on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

After lunch, Archbishop John and the pilgrims took part in a rosary procession, with the Statue of Our Lady of Walsingham.

The day concluded with Benediction, led by Archbishop John, in the Ancient Priory Grounds.

A huge congratulations to Father James Clark for organising a joyful pilgrimage.
