Saturday, 21st:
|

For Archbishop Peter, Bishop
John, Bishop Pat and Bishop Paul: that the Lord will
bless them and guide them in their ministry as
bishops in the diocese of Southwark. We also
remember in prayer Archbishop Kevin, Archbishop
Michael, Bishop Howard and Bishop John.

|
Sunday, 22nd:
|
|
For all
priests and deacons in the Southwark diocese: that
they will be faithful witnesses of the Gospel,
ministers of Word and Sacrament, called to serve the
communities they are sent to. We also remember the
religious communities of priests, brothers and
sisters and ask that their works may be blessed. We
pray for vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and
religious life.

Monday, 23rd: |
For the parishes and schools
of the South East Area of the Southwark diocese:
that they may be places of welcome, places of love
and service, places of joy and hope.
|
|
Tuesday, 24th: |
For the parishes and schools of the South West Area
of the Southwark diocese: that they may be places of
welcome, places of love and service, places of joy
and hope.
|
|
Wednesday, 25th: |
For the parishes and schools of the Kent Area of the
Southwark diocese: that they may be places of
welcome, places of love and service, places of joy
and hope.
|
|
Thursday, 26th: |
For the young people of our diocese: that they may
be witnesses of the Lord's love to all they meet and
that they may hear and respond generously to the
call the Lord gives to them. May they be signs and
symbols of God's love.
|
|
Friday, 27th: |
|
That our diocese, through its various agencies and
commissions, may reach out to all and be a beacon
and sign of God's love in the world. |

Prayer for the Archdiocese of
Southwark
God our Loving Father,
pour out on us afresh
the gifts of your Holy Spirit.
Open our ears to hear your
Word,
open our eyes to see your presence,
open our
minds to understand your Wisdom
and open our hearts to be
more available
for your mission
so that strengthened
by your grace
we can truly be a sign and instrument
of
your presence in our world today.
We ask this through
Christ our Lord.
