Prayers for our Diocese at the Shrine of Our Lady

Pilgrims from Southwark joined those from the dioceses of Clifton, East Anglia, Northampton and Portsmouth and Stonyhurst College on the Catholic Association Pilgrimage to Lourdes from Friday, 24th August until Friday, 31st August 2007. Bishop Paul led the Southwark contingent and Father David Hutton was the Diocesan Pilgrimage Director.

The diocese has close links with the Catholic Association: Bishop Paul is its President and Mgr William Saunders its Pilgrimage Director. Plans to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady to St Bernadette next year are already underway.
