Read Archbishop Kevin's address
Over 250 people packed the Westminster Cathedral Hall on Wednesday, 31st January for the launch of 'The Joy of God's Plan'.
The Luton Good Counsel group in conjunction with CTS produced this resource for those running marriage preparation courses for couples in Catholic parishes and for use in schools with teenagers.
The project was the inspiration of Archbishop Kevin, when he was Bishop of Northampton, in his desire to make the Church's teaching more widely available and understood.
Bishop Bernard Longley, Auxiliary in Westminster, welcomed all who had come to participate in the launch after which Archbishop Kevin gave the address. Then extracts from the DVD were shown.

"The Joy of God's Plan" has short testimonies and comments by a wide range of married couples who use natural family planning and a talk by Fr David Barratt, a young priest from the Northampton diocese explaining the positive side of the Catholic Church's teaching on sex and marriage. This is backed up by a biological explanation of the workings of the human body and how natural fertility awareness works in practice.

After a short break a panel answered questions from the audience.

The evening ended with a
prayer and blessing from the Archbishop.

The DVD comes with a booklet and suggestions on how it might be used as an evening session.
The publications can be
ordered, at a cost of £14.95 for the DVD and £1.95 for the booklet from the CTS
