Discovering Priesthood Days

We invite young men between 14 & 18 years of age to join us at one of our ‘Discovering Priesthood Days’. These days offer young people a chance to meet priests and bishops from around the diocese and to learn more about the life and ministry of a diocesan priest. * In 2006, the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales transferred the celebration of three Holy Days of Obligation which are Solemnities of the Lord to Sundays: the Epiphany, the Ascension of the Lord and Corpus Christi. In 2017 the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales transferred the celebration of two Holy Days of Obligation from the nearest Sunday to their calendar date: the Epiphany and the Ascension of the Lord. The decision was made to leave the celebtation of Corpus Christi on the nearest Sunday.
