Mass according to the Missal of Pope John XXIII

In July 2007, Pope Benedict XVI wrote a motu proprio, 'Summorum Pontificium', allowing Mass to be celebrated according to the Missal of Pope John XXIII (1962). The motu proprio came into effect in September last year. It is known as the 'extraordinary rite' for the celebration of Mass.
