Diocesan Diaconal Days
The first
of our three annual Diocesan Diaconal Days
was held last October at Saint Lawrence of Canterbury, Sidcup.
Canon John Redford of the Maryvale Institute
gave lectures and led discussions on
"The Eucharistic Words of Jesus in the Synoptics and in John 6".

Retreats
'Deacons should make a retreat at least
every other year'

To assist with this important aspect of our spiritual
formation,
the Permanent Diaconate Team organises two retreats each
year:
one for deacons only at The Friars, Aylesford
the other for deacons and wives at
the Maison Diocesaine d'Accueil, Merville, France.
