Archbishop Kevin with Father Sean (left) and Father Behruz
Archbishop Kevin ordained Sean O'Connor and Behruz Raf'at to the priesthood in a packed cathedral on Saturday, 7th October, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.
In his homily Archbishop Kevin said, 'The celebration of ordinations to the priesthood is an important event in the life of our diocese as well as being an important day, indeed a milestone, in the lives of those being ordained.'
Father Sean's family have been members of the Cathedral parish community since 1968 and the Norbury parish nourished the growth of Father Behruz's vocation. They paid tribute to their families, their priests and many others who have helped to sustain them on the road to the priesthood.
Father Sean has been appointed to Saint Saviour's Parish, Lewisham, and Father Behruz to Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus, Morden.
Please keep them in your prayers.
